How it works

Start with the business. Keep getting better from there

Adze builds an initial understanding, connects to the work already in motion, and begins carrying useful tasks forward—with clear decisions left to the marketer.

Getting started

Adze does the first pass

Give Adze the business website and it begins by finding the story, product facts, audience, evidence, objections, competitors, and language already present there.

  1. Adze reads the site

It follows the site's structure, identifies useful pages, and records where each proposed fact came from.

  2. It drafts an understanding

The team receives a first version of the audience, positioning, differentiators, objections, competitors, and voice.

  3. You correct what matters

Confirm what is right, edit what is incomplete, and reject anything the website taught badly.

  4. Connect the working tools

Add the publishing, social, email, search, analytics, and delivery systems Adze should work across.

  5. Choose the initial rhythm

Select which opportunities to watch and where review or approval belongs.

The result is not a locked setup document. It is a working understanding the team can inspect, edit, refresh, and improve over time.

Day to day

One useful opening becomes finished work

The exact path changes with the work, but the relationship stays consistent: Adze prepares and follows through; the marketer supplies direction, judgment, and approval.

Ledgerline

Fictional example

Client-document software for accounting firms

A search opportunity becomes a published blog post

  1. 01 Adze

    Adze notices the opening

Ledgerline's existing checklist continues to attract search visits, but parts of it describe an old workflow and the strongest competing pages have become more complete.

  2. 02 Adze

    It checks the context

The recommendation is compared with current positioning, product facts, audience questions, the old page, and the search landscape.

  3. 03 Adze

    It prepares the complete draft

Adze writes the outline, article, SEO title, meta description, summary, structured metadata, and suggested distribution.

  4. 04 You

    The marketer reviews the decision

You adjust the emphasis, remove an unsupported claim, and approve the version that should represent Ledgerline.

  5. 05 Adze

Adze carries it across the line

The post is scheduled, sent to the connected CMS, and checked to confirm whether it is live or waiting as a CMS draft.

  6. 06 Adze

The result returns to the next cycle

Search and traffic changes are measured, summarized, and kept with the work that produced them.

The work does not disappear after publishing. Its result becomes part of what Adze considers next.

Working boundaries

Not every action needs the same permission

A read-only check, a complete draft, and a change to the business's positioning are not equivalent. Adze treats them differently.

Routine observation can run quietly
Reading connected data, checking the calendar, monitoring known signals, and assembling context should not interrupt the marketer.
Prepared work can ask before it moves
Drafts, plans, schedules, exports, and rule proposals can pause at the review boundary the organization has chosen.
Durable changes require clear approval
Edits to the business profile, promoted voice rules, permissions, and other consequential changes remain explicit decisions.

Organizations can configure suitable defaults, but the hierarchy remains legible: Adze should never make a high-consequence change look like routine background work.

After review

An edit can improve the work that follows

Adze compares its original draft with the approved version. When the same preference appears repeatedly, it can propose a clear rule instead of making the marketer repeat the correction forever.

Ledgerline

Fictional example

One correction, and everything after it

Blog draft · 14 March

Eliminate document chasing forever with automated Spend less time chasing missing documents with client reminders.

Next blog draft · 2 April · no edit needed

Give your team a clearer view of which client documents are still missing.

The team remains in control of what becomes memory. Adze does not silently turn every isolated edit into a permanent instruction, and older assumptions can lose confidence when they have not been confirmed recently.

Between sessions

The practice does not go back to sleep when the tab closes

Adze can continue watching agreed signals, maintaining the publishing rhythm, checking completed actions, and preparing the next useful decision.

Adze is watching Sample workspace
  • Good morning — marketing is on track.
  • Search performance is holding steady.
  • The next two blog drafts are ready for review.
  • Nothing needs you in brand mentions today.
  • The publishing calendar is covered through next Thursday.
  • One content opportunity is gaining relevance.
  • Yesterday's post was confirmed live.
  • A connected account will need attention before it expires.
  • The monthly performance summary is ready.

The purpose of proactive work is not to create more notifications. It is to make absence safe: the marketer can return knowing that meaningful changes will have been surfaced and routine continuity has not been forgotten.

Practical questions

Before you put Adze into the workflow

Does setup require a complete brand book?

No. Adze starts with the business's existing website and proposes an initial understanding with sources. The team then corrects and expands what matters. Approved examples and explicit guidance can be added over time.

Can the team inspect and change what Adze understands?

Yes. The business profile is meant to be reviewed and edited. Learned patterns are supported by evidence, and durable rules are not meant to appear invisibly behind the work.

Does Adze take action without asking every time?

Routine read-only work can run quietly. Generation, publishing, and durable changes follow the organization's approval settings and the boundaries of the destination platform.

What happens when publishing fails?

Adze distinguishes between work that is live, staged as a CMS draft, delayed, or failed. It can retry supported actions, bring the failure to the marketer, and avoid presenting a scheduled action as a completed one.

Do we have to work through chat?

Chat is the primary way to direct Adze and ask questions, but the resulting work also appears in the appropriate plans, review queues, calendars, reports, and connected destinations.

Start with one business and one useful rhythm

Adze can learn the context, connect to the existing workflow, and begin by keeping the next few pieces of worthwhile marketing work from slipping.
